Who are we?
Kent School Appeals is a skilled team comprising Andrew Williamson and Paul Clark as our two principal advisors, Julia Shaw as data and analytics specialist and Anne Le Floch as our professional report writer.

Andy has worked in education for over twenty five years. He has been a senior school adviser for Kent Local Authority and a regional board member for the Kent Association of Headteachers. He has represented Kent Headteachers for a Select Committee on social mobility and admissions in Kent grammar schools. Andy has a Masters Degree in Educational Studies and for the last seven years he has been the Headteacher of a Kent Grammar School.
Paul has also worked in schools for thirty years and is an experienced educational consultant specialising in social education and school admissions. He has spent a number of years working and advising on the Primary-Secondary transition to parents, families and schools in Kent. Paul has undertaken research & presented at National Conferences on the difficulties associated with school transition.
Between them they have sat in over 700 school appeals over the last five years with a wide variety of Appeal panels.
With Julia and Anne who support with their specific data analysis and written presentation skills, Kent School Appeals has a network of school senior leaders in both the Primary and Secondary sectors whom they can call upon for the latest information at both a county and individual school level.
